The purpose of this ministry is to enhance the quality of life for those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS, strengthening the weak and comforting the hurting, express God’s unconditional love and acceptance to people who might die not knowing that God loves them, conducting community outreach projects including but not limited to visitations to the homeless, orphans, elderly and many other charitable organisations as well as providing relief to families.
Soup Kitchen
Our church is situated in a community which is overwhelmed by unemployment and poverty, where a greater part of its people is poor. The church is running a soup kitchen with minimal resources but believes that it has a responsibility to these people and cannot ignore such glaring realities.
Sewing
Langa community is an area that is incapacitated by the crisis of unemployment, a situation which calls for plans to bring about alternative solutions, hence the sewing class in our church. The aim is to assist create self-reliant members of the community who can standup and make ends meet for themselves.
Orphan Ministry
Because of AIDS pandemic and other diseases our community has many orphans, and some of them are in our church. This ministry is reaching out to these orphans not only of our church but also the community at large. We encourage families to come forward as foster parents. The church supports orphans through families. A need still exists for supporting these orphans by paying their school fees, food and clothing.
