The purpose of this ministry is to equip married couples on issues of marriage, thereby strengthening family relations. Married couples meet on a regular basis to discuss, advice each other, comfort each other, share experiences on marital issues and pray for each other. Some of the married couples in our church never went for marriage counseling before saying “I do” and when their marriage foundations are shaken they find themselves wanting and this ministry, indirectly, comes in very handy and act as support structure and save dying or threatened marriages.

Pre and Post Marital Classes

The Pre class is for engaged couples who are already preparing for marriage. The class takes three months. Couples are taught about marriage, in-laws, budget and money, planning for a wedding, dealing with expectations and sex in marriage, raising kids, serving God in marriage, career, keeping vows, etc. There is also a Post class for the already married who are facing marital challenges. The class takes a form of a one –on-one with the couple concerned and may take up to 5 months.

Singles

This ministry seeks to help singles to accept and walk in their wholeness in Christ and experience wholeness within their relationships. It is realized that Single Christians face unique challenges but may not have a built-in support system and therefore this ministry provides that support. We acknowledge marriage may or may not happen for all Single Christians but regardless, the process of being one with Christ and one with self is paramount in order to experience the best that God has for us and the fullness of being one with an individual and/or the Body of Christ.We recognize that many singles feel as though they are “incomplete” or missing their so called “better-half”. We want to help change that mind-set through spiritual growth and awareness so that Single Christians can walk in the knowledge and confidence of their wholeness through Jesus Christ.
We encourage Single Christian men and women to discover their identity and purpose in Christ and the true design God has for their lives.

Single Parents

This ministry exists to rebuild in single parents and their children what has been distorted by life’s circumstances. Our mission is to empower and equip single parent families to achieve wholeness in parenting, finances and healthy relationships. We believe single parents are families that are whole families, not single adults with kids. One parent plus God is sufficient. Wholeness is found in Christ, not in marriage.

Divorced and Widows

Being single after divorce is NOT a shameful thing! God sees your loss as being widowed, even though His church may not. In God’s eyes, divorce and death are equal. A widow can be a person who has lost their spouse to death or divorce. So, this ministry seeks to counsel and empower these people as they try to move forward with their lives after loss of their loved ones.
