Spiritual Gifts

God is one with three bodies; God the Father, God the Son and the God the Holy Spirit.
God the Holy Spirit gives us spiritual gifts. You can never access Spiritual gifts without the Holy Spirit. God the Father who is in heaven sent God the Son to earth. God the Son released God the Holy Spirit when He left earth. God the Holy Spirit is with us on earth.
Every believer must have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, without Him you will never live an effective life. The Holy Spirit empowers us, He makes us do things that are beyond us. He tells us everything, but He’s also a gentleman enough to let us take our own decisions. Through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit Christians have an opportunity to live a conquering life.

The first experience with Him (Holy Spirit) is to be born again. That is how one receives the Holy Spirit. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit, you do things on your own which is a difficult thing. In the gospel of Mark Jesus said; “we will take on scorpions, drink poison and it will not harm us, lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”
Mark 16:16-18 is a standard for every church of Christ and believer however sin takes away that power; living in sin makes a believer live a below life.

1 Corinthians chapter 12:1-11 lists the different kinds of Spiritual gifts which are all distributed by the Holy Spirit Himself. But to access these you must have a desire to have them. You will not have what you do not desire. Also allow yourself to die to self so that God may use you. For God to do great things with Adam, Adam had to die to self, He put Adam to deep sleep when He created Eve for him. Know that every gift is for edification of the Church of Christ. You are not gifted for yourself but gifted for the church . Gifts work as He wills. Allow God to use you as a vessel! Don’t constrain yourself.
